Introducing the Adventure Box!

We hope everyone is enjoying their Adventure Journals and getting good use of out them. We've got some Adventure Journal news coming in the next couple of months, but in the meantime we wanted to show you something we think will be right up your alley!

As many of you know our good friends at CRWN Studios were a huge part of the Adventure Journal kickstarter. They set everything up here and ran the campaign as well as getting all the Adventure Journals printed, shipped, and delivered. In short, they're pretty great and we'd be remiss if we didn't draw your attention to their latest project:THE ADVENTURE BOX!

Catchy name, right?! The Adventure Box includes "10 Wonder Artifacts for Amazing Adventurers" that are all bespoke collectible items that the folks at CRWN Studios have been developing for about a year now. And while they're all pretty great, we absolutely LOVE the Dice Guardian. Because who doesn't need a light-up arcane skull to protect your favorite D20!

I mean, just look at that thing! And that's not all, this whole box is packed with tabletop inspired goodies. Each Adventure Box comes prepackaged with:

• D20 Fairy Lights
• Green Jelly Socks

As many of you know, our North American and Australian orders shipped last week and 99% of Backers have already received their Adventure Journals! The final hurdle for our team was the UK, EU, and Rest of World shipments which meant we had to get through the dreaded port of Felixstowe! For those of you who don't know about the craziness with British ports here's a brief summary.

I'm going to gush about how great our team is so feel free to skip this paragraph if you're not interested. Knowing the ports in the UK were going to be an issue we paid duties and taxes ahead arrival, clearing customs faster than we probably would have otherwise. Then our partners at GamesQuest worked extra hard this week to get all the orders out the door by Dec 18th!

As of today everyone should have a tracking email from BackerKit, and in many cases will have their Adventure Journals in hand. If you do not have tracking, please send us a message through Kickstarter and we'll check your order for you.

Please, please, please take a moment to double check your address in BackerKit. The last thing we want is Backers not getting their Adventure Journal in time for the annual Wintertop D&D Celebration (which is totally a real D&D holiday and not a thing we just made up...)

GIVING THANKS AND NEW BACKER EXCLUSIVE!

We've got a lot to be thankful for this year. You've all been fantastic Backers, we didn't hit any big snags in our production schedule... oh, and ADVENTURE JOURNALS CLEARED CUSTOMS IN NORTH AMERICA!

The Australian cargo ship dropped off their cargo around the same time, but we know Australia has been extra cautious with imports lately. The UK vessel should be arriving in the next couple of days. As soon as our partner warehouses have inventory they'll start our international fulfillment and we'll keep you updated. 

We should receive the customs-cleared inventory in our US fulfillment warehouse early next week, at which time we'll start fulfilling all North American reward tiers! This includes pre-orders received through BackerKit and orders Table Titans received through their website, but we'll be shipping all Kickstarter Backer rewards first, and we're still on track to have rewards delivered worldwide before December 25th!

Over the last few weeks we've been getting a LOT of requests from Backers asking if there's any way they could get a Kickstarter-exclusive Raven Black Adventure Journal. Because we were manufacturing in advance of the Kickstarter completion and there was no way to know exactly how many Raven Black Adventure Journals to make, this color choice was limited to certain tiers. Well, the Backers in those tiers have all made there color choices in BackerKit and...

We now have an extremely limited number of Raven Black Adventure Journals available EXCLUSIVELY to Kickstarter Backers as an add-on in BackerKit!

We're going to do our best to make sure everyone who would like a Raven Black Adventure Journal has an opportunity to add one onto their pledge. Questions? We figured. Here's what you need to know:

• Kickstarter Backers will have until Tuesday December 1st to add-on the Raven Black Adventure Journal to your BakerKit order (we'll email everyone a notice 48 hours before the accounts lock). You can check your BackerKit order and choose add-ons here: adventure-journal.backerkit.com 
• You won't be able to change your Kickstarter reward color choice to Raven Black, but you will be able to add-on the Raven Black Adventure Journal to your order for $20.
• There are VERY FEW of the Ravel Black Adventure Journal left and they will only be available as an add-on while supplies last. If you find that they are not available as an add-on it means there aren't any left, so if you'd like one, get in there quick!

Hopefully this helps everyone who really wanted a Raven Black Adventure Journal to get one. We're so thankful for all of you, Backers. You've helped us reprint and bring the Adventure Journal back to life, and you've made this such an amazing campaign. THE ADVENTURE JOURNALS ARE IN PORT!

Exciting News! The US vessel carrying the Adventure Journals has arrived in port and is currently waiting to be cleared through customs. The Australian vessel has also arrived and is clearing customs, and the UK vessel is due to arrive on November 29th!

Once these beauties have cleared customs, they will be packed onto a trucks and sent directly to our US offices in Portland, as well as our UK and Australian fulfillment centers. We have staff waiting at all these locations ready to pack and ship the Adventure Journals off to Backers all as soon as humanly possible! 

We are hopeful that we will have the Adventure Journals shipping to you in most countries by the first week of December, arriving well in time for holiday gift giving (barring any issues with customs clearance, who knows... it is still 2020).

If you need to update your address, add-on another Adventure Journal, or if you haven't yet filled out your BackerKit survey please do so now so that we can get your Adventure Journal sent out to you quickly! Lastly, we feel a shout out to our good friend Tanner Yarro from Yarro Studios is in order! In addition to telling all his fans about the Adventure Journal when we first launched the Kickstarter (Hi Battle Map Backers who joined Adventure Journal, we see you!), Tanner also happens to make an amazing set of TTRPG battle maps called the Immersive Battle Atlas!

We've got a few of these at the offices and have been using them in our games for a while now. They feature full color, high-res art on a thick card stock that lay flat, will take dry-erase markers, can be arranged in variety of ways, and are double sided. Plus there are 120 removable Battle Maps in three tomes so you've got a lot to work with. Here's just a handful of maps laid out together!
